Food at the Mardi Gras Festival

This year's festival has three new Food booths - China, Philippines, and Coca-Cola Market Square. However, booths from last year, like Denmark, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Trinidad & Tobago, won't be returning.

Now, let's talk about the food! There are many delicious dishes to try from different countries like Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, and more. Universal Orlando has shared a sneak peek of some of the new and returning food that will be available this year.

At the new China booth, you can try the Szechuan Noodle Salad made with Chinese noodles, spicy black vinegar dressing, cucumbers, cilantro, scallions, and peanuts. Over at the Puerto Rico booth, you can enjoy Pastelons, which are layers of sweet yellow plantains, picadillo beef, and Edam cheese. And at the Mexico booth, you'll find Chilaquiles Verdes, a dish made with pulled roasted chicken, corn tortilla, tomatillo salsa verde, Oaxaca & Cotija cheese, and crema Mexicana.

If you're a returning visitor, you'll be happy to know that some of last year's favourites will be back, like Chicken Schnitzel from the Germany booth. And, of course, you can't leave the festival without trying the classic NAWLINS treat - beignets! These sweet fried pastries dusted with powdered sugar will be available at the New Orleans booth.

So, get ready to experience different cultures through food and have a fun-filled time at the Universal Orlando Mardi Gras party!
