Aquatica Orlando, the famous water park in Florida, is all set to unveil its latest attraction in Spring 2024. The new ride, "Tassie's Underwater Twist," is being touted as "Florida's most immersive waterslide." It promises to take guests on an enthralling journey to the depths of the sea through Australia's Shark Bay seagrass meadow.

The slide, which is 129 feet long, has been manufactured by WhiteWater West Industries and features a unique bowl element. Riders on two-person tubes will be surrounded by lush seagrass meadows, schools of colourful fish, and even an occasional shark, making it an unforgettable experience. The attraction also boasts a synchronised video projection display and a musical score to enhance the immersive experience.

Apart from being a thrilling waterslide ride, Tassie's Underwater Twist has an educational aspect. The visual components of the ride will teach visitors about the importance of seagrass meadows and the marine life that depends on them.

Aquatica Orlando President Brad Gilmour said,

"This immersive attraction promises a whirlwind of wonder and adrenaline-pumping twists. We've crafted an experience that will delight slide enthusiasts and create lasting memories for families and friends. With Tassie's Underwater Twist, we invite guests to dive into an underwater world of wonder, where fun and excitement meet curiosity and education."

Moreover, annual pass holders will be among the first to slide into "Tassie's Underwater Twist" before it opens to the general public.
